Anton Retro

Video Design 2026

A tech and gaming YouTube channel evolving from Minecraft tutorials to hardware reviews, amassing over 5 million views across long form and shorts content.

From Minecraft PE to Tech Verification

The channel originally started as a dedicated Minecraft Pocket Edition hub, focusing on redstone and building tutorials. I specialized in porting a few Java Edition redstone designs to PE, which eventually became Minecraft Bedrock, filling a gap in the market where few tutorials existed. In January 2018, I rebranded to Anton Retro with the release of my "Super Card SD Mini" video, beginning a brand new chapter.

Viral Success: The 3DS Experiment

One of my most successful recent experiments involved testing "New Nintendo 3DS" exclusive games (like Minecraft) on older hardware. The resulting Short exploded to over 2.7 million views, proving that curiosity-driven technical content resonates with a massive audience.

Long-form content has also seen major success. My comprehensive "Top 10 Must-Have Nintendo Switch Games! 2022 Guide" has surpassed 2.1 million views, helping countless new Switch owners curate their libraries.

Project Spotlight: Mario Kart Wii Texture Remaster

Beyond reviews, I lead technical creative projects. I personally remastered and updated a vast array of textures for Mario Kart Wii, a labor-intensive process requiring deep knowledge of game asset management. While I collaborated with another team for some assets, a significant portion of the remastering was my own handiwork.

Trusted by Brands

I have collaborated with major brands, including Surfshark and Temu, to help with the development of my biggest videos. The promotions are neatly integrated so they don't feel intrusive.
