Starting a YouTube channel from scratch is no easy feat, especially in a crowded and competitive space like Minecraft. However, with determination and hard work, it is possible to create a successful and valuable channel in 2022 that helps players of all skill levels. That’s exactly what I set out to do with my Anton Craft channel.
As someone with previous experience running a YouTube channel, I knew that creating high-quality content, building an audience, and engaging with viewers were all important factors in the success of a channel. So, I worked hard to create comprehensive, easy-to-follow tutorials that covered a wide range of topics, including building, Redstone, mods, and commands.
One of the first things I did when starting my Anton Craft channel was to create a banner and theme that reflected the playful and creative nature of Minecraft. I chose a blue color scheme and a playful font and included a wrench and a nut to give the creative vibe. I also created an intro, and end screen that used similar elements and included links to my other content.
In terms of the creative process, I initially planned to create my tutorials in real-time, with a webcam recording my face as I played the game and provided commentary. However, I quickly realized that this wasn’t the most effective approach, so I switched to a more scripted approach, where I recorded my voice and gameplay separately and edited them together in post-production.
Additionally, I used software like Photoshop and Illustrator to create custom thumbnails and graphics, and used a high-quality mic like the Shure MV7 to record my voice. I also used a powerful gaming PC to run Minecraft and other video editing software smoothly, which was essential for my workflow.
With all of these efforts, I uploaded 2 videos on the Anton Craft channel. My goal is to continue providing high-quality Minecraft content that helps players of all skill levels, and to build a community that enjoys playing and creating in this wonderful game.

Adobe Photoshop is the one stop shop for creating all of my thumbnails and YouTube posts. Photoshop easily allows me to import.
